SCOTT'S 29th BIRTHDAY FEAST!

On Saturday May, 7th Scott turns 29, so to help us celebrate all of our friends (some of which after running the mini marathon earlier that morning) went to the Brazilian Grill for the special occasion. For those of you that are not familiar with Brazilian food, they cook everything on very large skewers and bring them out to your table and cut the meats off right there in front of you. They will keep coming with all different kinds of meats, chicken, beef, lamb, sausage, and pork marinated in all different kinds of flavors, smoked etc....It's a meat lovers dream dinner. It took us 2 and a half hours to eat dinner that night and to make the occasion even better, our friends all chipped in and bought Scott and I a Wii for his birthday, my birthday and my graduation!

This is the before picture and I'm not sure what Scott is doing with his prongs here!

Friends of the Birthday Feast and warming up with the salad bar!
More friends of the feast and Scott opening the Wii!
The massive brownie we all had to help Scott eat, and of course the after picture. Note to self, this is what eating chicken, pork, beef, sausage and lamb will do to you!

The Master Graduated!!!!

That's right I finally finished my Masters Degree.......so what if it took me 8 years to do it it's done!!!! On Friday, May 2, 2008 I officially walk in the Masters/Doctorate ceremony at the University of Indianapolis even though I finished the program back in December, I now have a Master of Arts degree from UIndy along with Bachelor of Music Education from Butler. Michael Buble What A Day!

On Friday April 18th Scott got tickets for the Michael Buble concert at Consceo Fieldhouse (where the Pacers play). It was a Valentine's day gift which ended up as an even better gift!!!! Scott being an employee at Consceo Fieldhouse was given comp tickets to the event which was pretty close to being sold out. It ended up that the comp tickets he was given were much closer to the stage than the original tickets he bought, so close in fact Michael Buble was just 5 rows away from us at one point! We even sat right next to one of the assistant coaches for the Pacers too!!!!! All in all it was quite an evening, we had dinner with some former students from Franklin Central and Band moms and the concert was unbelievable, even Scott enjoyed it and the opening act Naturally 7 was amazing. Scott and I both suggest checking out their music, it's all based on "voice play" where each member of the group imitates an actual instrument, but they are so good at it that it's extremely hard to tell that they are creating the instrument sounds with their voices! Here's some of our footage from the evening!

Here's some of our favorite shots from the evening including the dinner shot of Scott and I! The guys in the white is the opening Act Naturally 7, and of course the others are of Michael Buble!
