COLTS GAME!!!!

Scott and I were fortunate enough to go to the Colts vs. Jacksonville game this past weekend in Indianapolis in the RCA dome. This was one of the last few home games the Colts will play in the RCA Dome with the new Luca Oil stadium opening up this August with DCI Finals. Colts home games are wild and crazy and extremely loud, other NFL teams accuse us of pumping crowd noise into the dome when it's really just loud and proud fans! GO COLTS!

FC DRUMLINE WITH KEITH URBAN!

On Thursday, Nov. 8th the FC drumline performed during Keith Urban's sold out concert at Conseco Field House (where Scott works). I was not fortunate enough to get a ticket...I gave mine to our percussion staff since they were bigger Keith Urban fans than I, however we had many band parents an percussion staff who took pictures and cell phone video's so here's a little of the action from the concert. SPECIAL "JACK" THE PUMPKIN

Well Scott and I carved our first pumpkin together and it was quite an adventure. I didn't realize that pumpkin carving can be quite tedious especially when you don't have a pumpkin knife to carve with! We had to improvise with a Calphalon paring knife....I don't recommend this.....let's just say I was in charge of drawing the face for Jack and he started with more teeth that he actually received......the paring knife didn't cooperate with us so he lost a few in the carving process so he's now "SPECIAL JACK!"

CUBS LOOSE BUT COLTS WIN!

Well what can we say, the Cubs lost again! We really had some sort of a glimpse of hope but then again as Scott always says "It's the Cubs" they tend to disappoint. Next year will mark the 100th anniversary since the last time the Cubs won a World Series. Oh well, until that day happens we'll keep cheering for them even though it may never happen again....at least in our life time!

On the other hand our Super Bowl Champ Indianapolis Colts are off to a great season, and Scott and I are going to the Jacksonville game on December 2nd, so more pictures will be posted later.

Scott and I are recuperating from a very long weekend with the Tennant and Sorge families. We played Holiday Inn for them as they spent a long weekend with us, it was quite entertaining with many stories to share most of which involved Ethan in the midst of his potty training.

CUBS ARE ON A ROLL!

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT, THE CHICAGO CUBBIES HAVE WON THEIR DIVISION! SCOTT IS IN HIS OWN WORLD RIGHT NOW BUT WE ARE NOT GETTING TOO EXCITED YET ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN. BUT FOR NOW, WE ARE GOING TO AT LEAST ENJOY THE FACT THAT THEY ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS. THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF PICTURES SOON TO FOLLOW I PROMISE.

ON ANOTHER NOTE, THE FRANKLIN CENTRAL MARCHING FLASHES FINALLY GOT A NEW SEMI WITH A PIMPED UP PAINT JOB JUST TWO DAYS AGO. WE BY FAR HAVE THE BEST LOOKING SEMI IN THE STATE OF INDIANA.

SUPER BOWL TROPHY!

Scott and I were pretty lucky to actually touch the super bowl trophy when it came to Victory Field in Indianapolis. Hey at least the Colts won the super bowl, the Cubs well..............it's the Cubs.

The Canoe Ride!

This is the canoe ride picture we had taken and let me tell you if you ever get a chance to do this you definitely have to try it. No you won't get sea sick and it's pretty darn close to surfing. Scott and I were the lucky two to be placed in the front two seats of the canoe where all the action takes place, it's quite a trip!
