SPECIAL "JACK" THE PUMPKIN

Well Scott and I carved our first pumpkin together and it was quite an adventure. I didn't realize that pumpkin carving can be quite tedious especially when you don't have a pumpkin knife to carve with! We had to improvise with a Calphalon paring knife....I don't recommend this.....let's just say I was in charge of drawing the face for Jack and he started with more teeth that he actually received......the paring knife didn't cooperate with us so he lost a few in the carving process so he's now "SPECIAL JACK!"

CUBS LOOSE BUT COLTS WIN!

Well what can we say, the Cubs lost again! We really had some sort of a glimpse of hope but then again as Scott always says "It's the Cubs" they tend to disappoint. Next year will mark the 100th anniversary since the last time the Cubs won a World Series. Oh well, until that day happens we'll keep cheering for them even though it may never happen again....at least in our life time!

On the other hand our Super Bowl Champ Indianapolis Colts are off to a great season, and Scott and I are going to the Jacksonville game on December 2nd, so more pictures will be posted later.

Scott and I are recuperating from a very long weekend with the Tennant and Sorge families. We played Holiday Inn for them as they spent a long weekend with us, it was quite entertaining with many stories to share most of which involved Ethan in the midst of his potty training.
